As the curator and producer for Fulton Market Kitchen, (a restaurant event space, that was conceived with the goal in mind to give Chicago’s emerging artists a platform to showcase their talents), The Feast Within was one of the larger productions I did, highlighting two of Chicago’s young emerging multidisciplinary artists. In the spirit of Halloween, I wanted to offer the guests of FMK something they could sink their teeth into. CJ and Danella concepted and designed a multi-room sensory experience, that culminated into a grand feast highlighting Maker’s Mark. Actors/Performance artists presented a drink to each guest as they marveled at the overwhelming influx of sounds, textures and characters that filled the room.
